14k gold fill does not actually mean that your jewelry is filled with gold. It means that there is a solid layer of solid gold and not only a few microns like with regular gold plating. All of the Wienimalism gold fill pieces have a minimum layer of 1/20 gold im comparison to its metal core (brass). This means that your jewelry is very durable and should not fade after time - with the proper care. Gold fill is a cheaper alternative for people who only buy real solid gold jewelry due to allergic reasons.
